How to draw a sea turtle - let's get started!
Step 1
Draw an outline of the sea turtle's shell in the center of your paper.
To ensure the outline is correctly centered, draw a horizontal line and a vertical line across the paper to create reference lines. Where the two lines meet, you should draw the outline.
Step 2 - Draw an outline of the shell
Inside the shell outline we drew in the previous step, draw another outline that follows the shape of the shell.
In the space between the contours are the precentral, postcentral and marginal shields.
Step 3 - Insert the Vertebral Scute into the shell
Structure the vortex shields in the carapace by drawing irregular and uneven circular shapes that attach to each other in the center of the carapace.
Don't worry about making the shields perfect and flawless. The more uneven they are, the more realistic they appear.
Step 4 - Draw the shell's rib shield
To drawuneven geometric shapes similar to the previous step on the left side of the shell. All screens must be connected together as shown in the figure.
Step 5 - Now complete the Shell Shields
Repeat the previous step on the right side of the shell to finally complete the sea turtle shields.
Step 6 - Draw the sea turtle's head
Create the sea turtle's head by drawing a long, narrow, curved line under the shell. If drawn correctly, the sea turtle should be peeking out from under its shell.
Step 7 - Draw the sea turtle's flippers
Construct the fins by drawing an elongated curved line with a jagged horizontal line down each side of the shell.
This outlines the sea turtle's fins and helps it migrate effortlessly through the ocean over long periods of time.
Step 8 - Draw the back legs of the sea turtle
After we drew the fins in the previous step, it's time to draw the hind legs to finish the sea turtle's limbs.
Draw two straight lines connected by a diagonal jagged line to form the sea turtle's hind legs. Repeat the same process on the other side of the shell to create a pair of back legs.
Step 9 - Add patterns all over the sea turtle
Draw circular shapes of different sizes on the sea turtle's skin. This describes the unique patches on the surface of your skin.
Here you can see that the sea turtle is almost done! Just a touch of color is missing to complete your work of art!
